Thursdays starting September 30 for 8 sessions | 7 – 8:30 PM in person
Ephesians was one of the most widely circulated of St. Paul’s writings because of its powerful, practical instructions for disciples of Christ. In fact, its six short chapters contain some of the most discussed passages in the New Testament. Ephesians: Discover Your Inheritance examines many important themes that are still relevant in today’s Christian culture and society—the nature of marriage, the purpose and role of the Church, the preeminence of grace in God’s plan, and the reality of spiritual warfare.
Presenter Jeff Cavins explores what Paul’s letter to the Ephesians tells us about the nature of the Church—as a body, a household, a mystery, a communion, a bride, and an army. Ephesians: Discover Your Inheritance shows the treasures that await us as adopted sons and daughters in the family of God.
Participants of Ephesians will receive a workbook on the first day of the Bible Study and will meet every week to view an engaging video presentation followed by a time of lively group discussion and fellowship. The eight 30-minute videos, presented by Jeff Cavins, will guide you through St. Paul’s letter to the Ephesians, helping you discover the great inheritance that awaits us as sons and daughters, adopted fully into the family of God.
Depending on the COVID-19 situation and the number of illness cases reported, we may need to adjust our plans and meet on Zoom. But for the time being, we plan to meet in person.
The cost of the workbook (plus tax & shipping) is $40
You may also stop by the Parish Office to pay in the form of cash, check or credit card. Checks should be payable to: St. Vincent de Paul Church
