First Eucharist for Youth
The Eucharist is the “Source and Summit of the Christian Life.” That means that celebrating the Sacrifice of the Mass is the most important moment of our lives on Earth. To fully participate in the Mass is to be able to receive the Eucharist.
We believe that God makes ordinary bread and wine into the flesh and blood of Jesus Christ, not a symbol, but his true presence. This is an important Sacrament that deserves great respect and preparation. To prepare to receive the Eucharist, you must complete a minimum of 2 years of Faith Formation.
For Middle School Teens you will attend the Edge Middle School Ministry nights along with additional First Eucharist Sessions.
For high school students, they will begin your Confirmation Preparation process. The process is a minimum of 2 years. During their preparation for Confirmation they will attend additional First Eucharist Sessions the formation year they are to be Confirmed.
