The purpose of Catholic Bible Ministries is to present the Word of God through Bible studies and sharing. We endeavor to bring the Good News of Jesus Christ in an intelligent, prayerful manner that is both meaningful and relevant to our everyday lives. Our utmost desire is that through the help and encouragement of the studies, lives will be changed to the glory of God as we learn more about our Lord and truly know and understand the depths of His great love for us. Through this understanding and surrender to Him we seek, by His grace, to become genuinely renewed according to His promise: “In Him we have redemption through His blood, the forgiveness of sins, according to the riches of His grace …..therefore, if anyone is in Christ he is a new creation; old things have passed away; behold all things have become new” (Eph. 1:7, 2 Cor 5:17). By means of His grace and through knowledge of His word, we seek to be a light to others in this   darkened and troubled world. We desire to present God’s word to all those seeking a deeper knowledge of Scripture and who want a closer relationship with God through our Lord and savior, Jesus Christ. Lectures, group discussions, prayer and worship are included in whole or in part for those able to attend the study. Each study is designed so that a new participant can begin attending at any time throughout the year.Catholic Bible Ministries will begin its 22nd year at St. Vincent de Paul Catholic Church this September by presenting The Gospel of Matthew.
