Dear Sisters and Brothers and Friends:

It is an interesting question asked by the Pharisees in the Gospel today.(Matthew 22:34-40) The Jews had many laws to follow. As a matter of fact there were 613 different laws, regulations and dietary stipulations to follow. So, what is the greatest, the most important commandment? What is the bottom line of Jesus’ teaching? And for Jesus it was “love.”

We will return to celebrating Mass in the Church beginning 5 pm Saturday, September 12.

We ask that you please continue to be mindful of the following:

  • The California Department of Public Health now requires the wearing of face masks to slow the spread of the COVID-19. As such, the Diocese of Orange for the common good of all people, will continue to require face masks to be worn while attending Mass in the church. Please put your mask on when you exit your car.

  • Attendance in the Church is limited to 100 people. Seating is on a first come, first served basis, there is no reservation system.

  • Speakers will be set up and Communion will be distributed to those who are unable to be in the Church or may prefer to be outside at this time.

  • Shade and chairs will be provided in the courtyard.

A number of people miss the opportunity to adore Jesus in the Blessed Sacrament during these pandemic times.

In order to provide Eucharistic Adoration, a Tabernacle has been placed in the window of the Parish Office on the cemetery side of the property.

If you drop by to pray day or night, please remain in your car. Always be safe and courteous. We will provide this place for prayer with the Blessed Sacrament for a certain amount of time as needed.
