Mondays
Exodus
7-9 PM | Rooms A & B | June 5 – August 7, 2017

The Exodus can be viewed as the defining moment in Israel’s history, for it was then that God called Israel out of slavery in Egypt and to a life of freedom as His people. Exodus: Called to Freedom looks through the lens of Christ and the Church to show that, more than just seeking to free His people from the domination of Pharaoh, God desired to free His people from the far more sinister tyranny of sin, so they could live the authentic freedom that belongs to children of God. Because of this, the Exodus story is not just Israel’s story, it is our story as well; it tells us who God is and what He calls us to be.

Talking about faith with friends and family members can be intimidating. What do you say if they have questions you can’t answer or if they’re outright hostile toward God?

In this 5 session course, veteran apologist Don Johnson provides a natural, relational approach to conversational evangelism that will help you avoid all the common roadblocks to effective outreach. It is based on material from Don’s book How to Talk to a Skeptic, which Peter Kreeft called one of the most practical and profound apologetics books he had ever read. Thursdays
Acts of the Apostles
7 – 9 PM | Rooms A & B

June 1 – October 19, 2017 (20 weeks)
Acts is a story of hope. It’s the story of how a few Christians empowered by the Holy Spirit were chosen to bring Christ and the Good News to the ends of the earth. They taught as Christ did. They performed miracles as he did. Some even gave their lives for him. They faced secular forces, internal strife, hostile crowds, and despite all of this, they brought the kingdom of God to a broken world and the love of God to the hearts of men. Acts will enrich your faith and rekindle your love for Christ as you live the lives of his first disciples.
